Room Rentals at the Garden City Community Church

The Parlor
The showcase room of our church, completely renovated in summer 2018 and located on the first floor by the Whitehall Blvd entrance. The 900 sq. ft. Parlor features plenty of comfortable seating for up to 52 people, a freshly tuned baby grand Baldwin piano, 50” flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. Piano recitals, meetings, auditions, and other medium-sized gatherings often utilize this space. Chairs, tables, podiums, etc. are available if needed.
Gardner Hall
With a capacity of 280 people, our 3000 sq. ft. Gardner Hall is perfect for theatre & dance productions, indoor athletic groups, dinner parties, and much more. This large basement room features a stage, professional lighting, and the sound system can be connected to your soundboard or other equipment for a complete theatrical experience. Chairs, tables, podiums, etc. are available if needed. Access to the fully furnished Gardner Hall commercial kitchen is available for an additional fee.
The Kensington Room
The 480 sq. ft. Kensington Room, located on the first floor of the church, can fit up to 40 people, and includes a 42” flat screen TV and air conditioning. It is currently being used for children’s activities, community service groups, and board meetings.
The Community Room
The 780 sq. ft. Community Room can accommodate up to 40 people, and is often utilized by exercise classes, scout groups, and arts & crafts activities. Located on the basement level, elevator access is available.
The World Church Room
Not as spacious as Gardner Hall, but larger than the Parlor or Community Room, the 1060 sq. ft. World Church Room can fit 100 guests. On Sundays, it is home to the LI Grace Christian Church, where they hold worship services and share a meal. On weekdays, it is available to rent to outside groups. Also located in the basement, elevator access is available.
The Choir Room
Usually filled with voices raised in song on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings, the 1250 sq. ft. Choir Room is available for music-oriented groups of up to 50 people to use at other times. The baby grand piano is always tuned and ready to go. Please note, there is NO elevator access to this room on the second floor. However, it remains an attractive alternative to the somewhat pricier Parlor for piano recitals and the like.
The Classroom Wing
Don’t need much space, or interested in a budget rental? We have five church school classrooms available during the week. Each room is roughly 250-300 sq. ft. and can fit 15 people. The church school wing is located in the basement on the Kensington Road side of the building, so there is limited elevator access — there are 3-4 stairs in the hallway leading into the church school wing, coming from Gardner Hall. We often have SAT prep classes, exercise classes, and bible study groups using these rooms.
