Garden City Community Church welcomes their new Senior Minister,
Rev. Dr. Maria Francesca French. Join us on Sundays at 10:30 am to say hello and welcome her.
Join us this Sunday, August 30th at 10:30 a.m., as Dr. French explores two encounters with the holy: Moses at the burning bush and Peter confronting Jesus about what comes next.
Exodus 3 has long been one of Dr. French's favorite-and most mystifying-passages of Scripture. But what if holy ground isn't where we are meant to stay? Moses encounters God and is told to go. Peter recognizes Jesus and discovers that recognition will demand more of him than he imagined.
This Sunday, we'll explore what happens when an encounter with the holy changes us and sends us somewhere new. Sometimes, the problem with holy ground is that eventually, we have to put our shoes back on and go.
